Is it possible to use non-ASCII (Unicode) characters with EGSL and/or egslengine?

No, unfortunately not. Only with a trick which means to replace non needed characters of the bitmapfont (and upcoming monofont) with the needed characters. For example if I don't need "#" I can replace it with "". This works only for print routines, though.
